About

Soapbox Communications & Events was established in January 2003 and specialises in providing strategic input, expert insight and effective solutions for clients’ communication challenges. The Soapbox approach to media relations ensures that clients are offered the best and most sustainable tactics with which to build stature, credibility and awareness. An added and very important benefit is the company’s dynamic structure and tactical ability to react fast to opportunities and crises.

Soapbox gains advantage for our clients by ensuring sustained and credible profiling in the editorial sections of all media and, where appropriate, the broader stakeholder communities.

We represent our clients by understanding and embracing their strategies and disseminating their messages through press releases, face-to-face interviews, on-site visits, online PR strategies, case studies after implementations, and by using other tools like letters to the editor, guest columns, blogs, forums, social media and opinion editorials, which are all essential for the success of a sustained communications campaign. Our understanding of what is news worthy and how to position our clients and their messages in the media lies at the core of Soapbox’s offering.

Soapbox Communications is a small woman-owned business (SMME), registered as a Level 4 BEE supplier (copy of BEE status is available on request).
